The Wrenbury practice was initially designed for one GP, with a long-term vision for future expansion. We worked closely alongside the doctor and NHS partners to create a flexible building that included future proof space. The practice has now been expanded to three GPs without any restriction on services or disruption to the daily routine.
The practice team also required a separate dispensing pharmacy and this has been accommodated by UHD within the versatile space we provided.
Our original brief was to find a new site closer to the centre of Wrenbury. Using our site finding and negotiating experience, we secured a site, which is shared with other community facilities. From day one, this striking building has been a focal point at the centre of Wrenbury.
In 2018, UHD helped the practice to secure NHS capital funding to fit out the remaining 250m² of expansion space. This provided the practice with additional clinical space, office accommodation and a specialist GP training suite to accommodate the practice's growth.
